Business Meeting

In the UK:

Usually, courses are face-to-face.

We believe that an immersive course in a native-speaking country, can move your English language learning forward, faster and further.

In a typical 30-hour contact week, you will speak English from morning until night.

English will be all around you: when you have breakfast, on the way to the training room, at lunch, and on social visits in the evening.

Our aim is that you will be dreaming in English after two or three days.

Yes, this contact is intense and hard work.

The reward is that you will get a strong boost, a shift in your confidence,

far greater than an occasional app or in-company trainer visit.

Not that the latter are not useful. They are. And we support all forms of learning.

But a week in York or London can provide clear progress, for you to take back to your international work.

The course can be extended to two weeks, if required.

The course timings are flexible, and can be adapted.

The course methodology is communicative and learner led.

A variety of texts, audio-visual resources and case studies are used.

Participants also take part in social and cultural activities and meetings with UK counterparts.

A typical timetable for a one-week, 30-hour course:
Monday-Friday:

Session 1: 09.00 -10.30

Break:  10.30 -10.45

Session 2: 10.45 -12.15
Lunch break: 12.15-13.45

Session 3: 13.45-15.15

Break: 15.15 - 15.30

Session 4: 15.30 - 17.00

However, if you only wish to book a 15-hour learning week, that is possible, too.

This might give you time to catch up on your work emails and calls, in the afternoon for example.

In YOUR country:

Face-to-face training can also work well if you need to balance your training with regular work demands. This can be achieved  by providing an intense learning sessions but leaving you free to catch up with emails and calls later in the afternoon.
